Conclusion: For me good love songs say nothing about ”It’s just you and me” and are usually high energy – more about the energy that the rush of emotions and lust that romance can give you than gushing about ”I’ve found someone to complete me and spend the rest of my life with”=icky and nothing I’m interested in either in life or in song. Held a discussion on relationship anarchy in Lund today and concluded that COMMUNITY must take the place of the individual, the twosome-couple or the nuclear family as the base of society - and in that community their is of course space for individuality and community is much more stable than twosomeness, nuclear families and individuals ever could be.
"come on now the police aren't gonna save you, they're part of the problem that society gave you, locking up a black man for whistling in the wind, you see a mirage when you call the cops your friend"... "arrest you for whoring than rape you in the car, it's time we point a finger at who the real criminals are"... "So I stay awake almost every night a pen in my hand and in the other a knife, cuz I'd rather be scared and fight back, than be some dicks babe, maid or wife. I DON'T CARE HOW WE GET IT BUT WE'LL GET IT SOME DAY. I DON'T CARE HOW WE GET IT, BUT WE'LL GET IT SOME DAY, I DON'T CARE HOW WE GET IT, BUT WE'LL GET IT SOME DAY, I DON'T CARE HOW WE GET IT, BUW WE'VE GOTTA GET IT SOME DAY!"
