Tickets: Cost 50 SEK for those with a little less money and 80 SEK for those with a little more money. Tickets are sold at the venue and the ticket sales open one hour before the show starts, so be sure to get there before the show starts. I recommend people to be at the venue a half an hour before the show starts.

Those of us who have been raped are called many things. We are told that our lives are ruined. That we must cry ourselves to sleep every night. That we have been through something that is ”worse than death”. But Hello! A guy raped me 3,5 years ago and I am still here. I survived. It was something terrible, but I refuse to be passive and victimized for the rest of my life. I don’t call myself a rape victim. I call myself a rape survivor. I survived and in many ways I am stronger now than ever before.
I am a rape survivor, but that is only one of my many identities and but one of many themes for this spoken word-musical. ”In burning – in bashing back – in blooming” is about going through a crisis (not just rape specifically) and losing control, but also about how you can grow and strengthen, find agency and learn from these situations. Through yourself, through support, through solidarity, through SCREAMING, through activism. It’s about queerfeminist activism – the twosome-norm, femme-fighting, the liberation of screaming your lungs out, the radical possibilities of pleasure, drag, explosions, silence, cats, black swans, lookism, alternatives to suicide and bashing back against hate crime. Featuring the dick of patriarchy and the head of capitalism, and giving head to patriarchy and capitalism.

Riot Grrrl meets spoken word meets queer performance art meets dark musical. Valerie Solanas meets Judith Butler and Diamanda Galas meets Kathleen Hanna. The results are intense , cathartic and unapologetically political. Femme fucks back. Femme fights back. Femme bashes back. Kitty’s got claws and sharp teeth and is not afraid to use them.
